Sam Farha: Lets Gamble   How will you describe an ideal poker player? He looks like an “old style” Vegas Shark, has lizard eyes and a cigarette dangling from his mouth. This player always has the same expression on his face not depending on what cards he has. He as handsome as talented and never loses his temper…   An ideal player… It’s all about Sam Farha. He wasn’t the 1st at the WSOP, but he was the first in people’s mind.   At first he didn’t plan to become a professional poker player. He earned a degree in Business Administration and even began to use his education… but at that time his friend offered him to spend one night at the poker table… You must consider that Farha’s father was rather conservative person and that’s why his son had chosen Business Administration. But his mother… she was free-spirited… and it came  out in this  one-night game. It was then no doubt that Farha had a heart of a gambler.   Business mind and gamblers heart. What can be better for a poker player? Only luck. Farha is lucky. And these are ingredients of his success in poker: luck, business and skill. As for skill – he has his own strategy, which had already helped him to win the Pot-Limit Omaha Championship at the WSOP in 1996.   Some say that Chris Moneymaker changed poker’s face, that he even became its face. But… His face is not so handsome as Farha’s. When people discuss Moneymaker they talk about his luck, when they discuss Farha – they talk about his appearance:  “I LOVE THIS MAN!”  “How could you not love a man with such kind eyes?”  Sammy is the best. Is he married and what is his age? Would love to know.    Farha is well known for his talent to entertain people. They have already begun to quote him:  I don smoke, and I keep the same ciggerette and if I lose a pot Ill change the ciggerette.
